WHEREAS, education and parents’ rights are at the forefront of Texas Republican Party’s platform, and local elections are no longer non-partisan; and
WHEREAS, the State Republican Executive Committee has approved guidelines for County Executive Committees to endorse non-partisan candidates; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, contingent upon the endorsement of the Collin County Republican Executive Committee, the Republican Party of Texas endorses:
Princeton ISD: John Campbell and Julia Schmoker;
Wylie ISD: Jill Palmer (Place 1), Jeffrey Keech (Place 2), Kevin Brooks (Place 5), and Michael Schwerin (Place 6);
and shall provide any and all resources available to local school board candidates.
