RPT CHAIRMAN JAMES DICKEY REMARKS ON DEMOCRAT U.S. SENATE CANDIDATE DEBATE
Republican Party of Texas Chair James Dickey commented:
“Tonight was supposed to be a debate between the two Democrat runoff candidates for U.S. Senate. Instead it was a race to socialism, each vying to be the most leftist and most extreme. All that remained was the question – who will follow Joe Biden in leading the Democrat party in Texas off the cliff this November?
“Neither of these candidates are any match for the steady leadership of Senator John Cornyn throughout his tenure in the U. S. Senate. Their sophomoric theatrics demonstrate one more reason for Texans to reject their socialist policies.
“Without a doubt the winner of tonight’s Democrat debate was Senator John Cornyn and the Texans who so clearly have even more reason than before to reelect him.”
