Austin, TX, Release: October 19, 2021 — For Immediate Release
The Republican Party of Texas released a Resolution Opposing Proposition 2 in the November 2021 Texas election today. The resolution was passed unanimously by the State Republican Executive Committee. Early voting for this election has already begun.
The Resolution states in part, the Party opposes Proposition 2 because it violates the principles of a free market, creates more local debt, and is in opposition to Plank #176 concerning the creation of new management districts.
