Chairman Rinaldi Appoints Fred Tate as Treasurer

Austin, TX, Release: August 2, 2021 — For Immediate Release

Texas Republican Party Chairman Matt Rinaldi appointed Fred Tate as Treasurer today. Fred replaces Tim O’Hare who resigned to focus on his campaign for Tarrant County Judge. Mr. Tate will need to be formally confirmed by the State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) at their next meeting in August.  

“Fred is a successful small business owner with decades of experience in finance and an active member of his community. His particular experience helping businesses increase revenue, control costs, and grow their profitability will serve the Republican Party of Texas well. I am thrilled to have him on our team.” said Matt Rinaldi.  

“Thank you to the Chairman for this opportunity, I am humbled he asked me to serve,” said Fred Tate. “I look forward to being confirmed by the SREC and helping the party achieve its goals as we head into an important election and redistricting year.” 

Fred earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University with a double major in Finance and Economics. He is the founder of CFO Shield, a Fractional CFO firm that helps small business owners, and has an additional 18 years of experience in corporate American. Fred has been happily married for 17 years, and has one son and a Labrador Retriever.
